The stunning 11 year old stallion Lando Boy, ridden by France’s Frederic David, has sadly passed away this week after two serious colic surgeries. The 11 year old Oldenburg stallion, owned by HH Sheikha Alyazia Sultan Al Nehayen and Al Asayl Stables, contracted Laminitis in addition to the colic complications therefore the decision became clear that the talented mount should be euthanized. Lando Boy had been competing with France’s Frederic David since 2011, predominately on the Middle Eastern circuit as well as the international circuit in Europe. Lando Boy recently finished 7th in the CSI2* Grand Prix of Ghantoot in Abu Dhabi a few weeks ago with his rider Frederic David.
Our condolences to Frederic David and Al Asayl Stables for this terrible loss.
