Carlene and Andy Ziegler’s Artisan Farms LLC has purchased the horse, Upperclass. Ridden by William Whitaker, the 13-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Concorde x Indoctro) most recently placed second in the €120,000 Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona during CSIO5* Barcelona. Upperclass will now be ridden by Andy Ziegler of the United States.
The pair won the CSI5* Tourmaline Oil Cup at Spruce Meadows in September this year. The pair also recorded wins in Le Touquet, St. Gallen, Bethune, Bolesworth, Dinard and Hickstead during 2014.
