We believe good horsemanship is built on curiosity, feel, and responsibility. Our work
brings together voices from across the horse world who share a commitment to
thoughtful training and lifelong learning. Whether in the arena, at home in the barn,
or behind a microphone, our approach is rooted in respect for the horse and
belief in the rider’s potential to grow.
I have always asked lots of questions, in fact, often getting into trouble for asking too many questions. I also am a slow learner, slow reader and visual learner. Becoming a photo journalist allowed me to make a living asking questions and observing the horse world. That allowed me to learn from the best in the horse world. I started my blog out of a deep need to share what I was seeing and learning with as many people as possible.
The more access I got to great horsemen and horsewomen, the more determined I was to share what I saw, what I felt and what I learned, with as many riders as I could. That has, and always will be, the driving force behind NOËLLE FLOYD.
I created NOËLLE FLOYD to give riders access to the knowledge and stories that have made an impact on me and many others, in a powerful way. My hope is that our content can inspire you, inform you and empower you in ways that support your dreams, goals and life with horses.
Since the term “natural horsemanship” was coined before the turn of the 21st century, the horse world has been undergoing a revolution of the mind. Riders from all over the world have started to ask questions and challenge the intention behind why we do what we do with horses.
In an effort to commit further to accessible education, NOËLLE FLOYD launched its digital masterclass courses in 2019: the first of their kind in the horse world. These masterclasses carried riders through the pandemic and offered a supportive community of exciting education during turbulent times.
Now, we have members in Kenya, and we have members in Australia. We have members who drive cattle and ride western, and we have members who compete at the highest level of high performance horse sport in Olympic disciplines.
