Ruben Romp’s FEI European Championships partner Teavanta II C Z (Treasure x Ahorn) has been sold to Oleksandr Onyschenko of the Ukraine.
Known as Audi’s Teavanta (registered as Teavanta II C Z), the 12-year-old Zangersheide mare was ridden by Pieter Coppes of The Netherlands before joining forces with Romp, a fellow Dutch rider, in the summer of 2015. The duo have since acquired multiple top ten placings over the course of their two year partnership. On July 28th, they picked up their final podium placing with a 2nd place finish in the €200,000 Longines King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead CSI5*.
Onyschenko became a professional rider in 2000 and has represented his country at both the Olympic and World Equestrian Games. Teavanta was purchased for an undisclosed amount.
