After great success with Swiss rider Pius Schwizer, the mare Sixtine de Vains heads to Britain, to the stables of Britain’s very own Ben Maher. Taking third place in the World Cup Grand Prix in Helsinki, a week after taking 6th place in the Oslo Grand Prix at only 8 years, the French-bred mare of the Sixtine de Vains shows tremendous potential. It is very exciting news to see that the talent will now evolve under the saddle of Britain’s much-loved rider Ben Maher.
Pius Schwizer had to withdrawn the eight year old exceptionally talented mare from the Global Champions Tour Final in Doha this week due to the sale. “I do regret the planned sale of this horse. With Sixtine, I had a lot of success and she would have offered me great prospects” said Pius Schwizer on his official Facebook page. “But I have to look ahead and hope to fill this huge gap in my string of horses soon.”
