The German rider Daniel Deusser, who came second in yesterday’s CSI5* big class, won the CSI5* 1.50 m held this morning. Fifty pairs disputed this class and seventeen of them reached the winning round including three Spanish riders: Carolina Aresu, Sergio Alvarez Moya and Pilar Lucrecia Cordon being the best of the three and qualifying third.
Phillipp Weishaupt winner of the Six Bars and Santiago Nuñez Riva of the Jump&Drive
Saturday night featured two dynamic classes, the six bar and the Jump&Drive. The six bars sponsored by Pedro del Hierro is the world’s second best endowed economically of Europe and second of the world. In the fourth round the German Phillip Weishaupt and “Chico” were the only pair of the four others on jumping clear the 1.95 m fence of the CSI5*. Julio Arias and Eduardo Álvarez Aznar didn’t pass the third round (height 1.85 m)
Santiago Nuñez Riva and “Vidar” won the Jump&Drive Mitsubishi Trophy. Second came the British rider Robert Whitaker and third Dag Ove Kings.
Diana Marsa dominates the MHW Trophy CSI2*
The first class of the day started this morning at 8:30. Diana Marsá with“Oural de Villelongue” adds another international victory this season. Diana, who gaved it all in the arena, lowered more than 4 seconds the clock of the Italian Giampero Garofalo riding “Fairplay of Heritage” who came second with 45.27s. Third was Jane Davis who so far is doing a very good competition here in Madrid.
