Cassio Rivetti and Temple Road for the Ukraine
Brazilian born Ukrainian rider Cassio Rivetti has put an end to his collaboration with Ukrainian multi-millionaire Oleksandr Onyshchenko after the retirement of the stallion Vivant Heffinck VD and the departure of Forlap DC to Stephex stables and Germany’s Daniel Deusser.
The two are parting ways amicably however, with Cassio Rivetti foremost thanking his long-time sponsor for the many wonderful years of support and collaboration. “I spent six wonderful years I have approached the great sport, participating in Championships: European Championship, World and Olympic Games I have no regrets about this adventure that has really given me a lot but I think today it’s time to turn the page” said Rivetti to Stud for Life.
“Nonetheless, I am still riding in Ukrainian colors. I have not yet made a decision in relation to this and I do not have yet had any contact with the Brazilian Federation.”
Rivetti confirmed that he is based in Wisbecq, Belgium and that he will participate in the CSI3* event in Saint. Lo, France this week. Cassio currently has two green mounts given to him by his long time friend and business relation Francois Mathy of Belgium. Cassio Rivetti represented Brazil up until 2008, but in 2009 Rivetti changed nationalities to compete for Ukraine in conjunction with his new collaboration with Ukraine’s Oleksandr Onyshchenko. Rivetti has successfully competed for Ukraine for the last six years, representing Ukraine at the 2012 Olympic in London for the Ukraine as well as two World Equestrian Games.
