Marcus Ehning’s Cornado NRW has sustained an injury and will not be competing for the next two months. The injury is an acute bone bruise of the fetlock bone. As stated on the Sportpferde Ehning website, the injury also explains that that participation of Cornado NRW at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, Germany in August is unlikely due to the injury and subsequent time off. “Our highest priority, however, is the recovery of the stallion, therefore we will only return him to competitions once he is completely healed” says Ehning in the statement.
