At the beginning of 2017, the 11-year-old mare DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell) had yet to compete beyond the CSI4* level. Fast forward 11 months and Alice, under rider Simone Blum of Germany, has won no less than five CSI5* classes, including a 1st place finish in the September 17, Longines Grand Prix of Lausanne CSI5*.
In the Fall 2017 issue of NoelleFloyd Magazine, we explored DSP Alice’s rise to the top of the sport and the impact of her progression thus far. Her stand out performances garnered her recognition at some of the best venues in the world, and, a ‘Break Out Horse of the Year’ nomination in the NoelleFloyd.com Best of 2017 Awards.
In a field that included rising talents Catch Me, RMF Echo, Dublin, and Twentytwo des Biches, your vote determined DSP Alice as victor, solidifying what has been said all along: Alice is one to watch.
