Equestrian Australia has already announced that their top world-ranked Edwina Tops-Alexander as the first member of their team for the 2014 FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games in Normandy this September. Edwina has been nominated with both Ego Van Orti and Old Chap Tame as her possible mount for the international event, which will be hosted in Caen, France in Normandy.
The shortlist for the other team members consist of David Goodwin with Warrego Jericho, Amy Graham with Bella Baloubet, Julia Hargreaves with Vedor, Jamie Kermond with Quite Cassini and Killeter Park Caracas, Ben Meredith with Bernadien van Westuur, James Passy with Yirrkala Cortina, James Paterson-Robinson with Vincente and Boris as well as Alison Rowland with Bickley Brook Bella. These eight riders will compete for the final team positions. Equestrian Australia have nominated CSI4* Mons Ghlin in Belgium and CSI3* Spangenberg in Germany during the first two weeks of July as their observation events for final Team selection.
