On day two of the Longines CSI5* St. Moritz in St. Moritz, Switzerland, Germany’s Felix Hassmann and the 12-year-old Holsteiner stallion Cayenne WZ (Claudio x Ramirado) produced the fastest of the clear, jump-off rounds to secure victory in the 1.50m Maxinos Championat.

For the 1.55m class on Friday, August 18, 2017, Switzerland’s Balsiger Guido designed the 13-obstacle-course that featured an 81 seconds time allowed. Forty three riders competed for a spot in the jump-off, though only 14 would make it to the shortened track.

With a faultless round and a speedy time of 41.66s, Hassmann finished in 1st to take home the lump sum of the 75.000 CHF purse. Coming behind him in 2nd place with a time of 42.94s was Great Britains Robert Whitaker and the 14-year-old Holsteiner gelding Catwalk IV (Colman x Corleone). For 3rd place, USA’s Katherine Dinan and the 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Dougie Douglas (Ard Vdl Douglas x High Roller) finished with a time of 43.11s.
