Marcus Ehning takes over lead in Western European World Cup Standings…

After winning the FEI Longines World Cup Qualifier in Bordeaux, France, Marcus Ehning takes over the lead in the 2013/14 Western European World Cup Standings. With only one World Cup qualifier remaining in the Western European League, Marcus Ehning, who finished third in the first World Cup Qualifier in Oslo, Norway, places himself in the most ideal position. The German rider has altogether collected 64 points thus far. France’s Patrice Delaveau, who sits in second place, on 61 points won two World Cup events thus far; Helsinki (FIN) and Leipzig (GER). Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer sits in third position with 54 points after winning in Zurich (SUI) and third in Bordeaux with Toualgo. Great Britain’s World #1 Scott Brash has been bumped down to fourth position with 52 points and Olympic Champion Steve Guerdat (SUI) is now in fifth position with 61 points.
