A top international pairing gets to continue a great partnership. Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann announced today, via the Official Von Eckermann Sports Stable Instagram account, that he will continue to campaign the 12-year-old Westphalian mare Mary Lou 194 (Montendro x Portland L).
Previously owned by Germany’s Karl Schneider, the mare has now been secured by Toveks, and will remain in Von Eckermann’s stables.
A formidable combination, Von Eckermann and Mary Lou have had an impressive list of victories over the past two seasons winning consecutive Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Gothenburg CSI5*-Ws, placing second in the Rolex Grand Prix at CHI Geneva in December and third at the 2017 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final in Omaha last April.
Von Eckermann closed out the 2018 World Cup™ qualifying season, leading the Western European League with a total of 84 points. Athletes travel to Paris in less than two weeks time and we wish Von Eckermann and Toveks Mary Lou the best of luck at this year’s Finals.
