Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet has an exciting new mount to add to his team. The 12-year-old Oh D’Eole (Kannan x Papillon Rouge) has been made available to the Belgian Olympian by Haras de Hus. Until a few months ago, we saw France’s Kevin Staut riding the talented mount, originally ridden by none other than Michel Robert.
Staut won classes in Shanghai and Lyon with Oh D’Eole to prove the pair were a succesful fit. The international debut of this new duo will be in Frankfurt, Germany next week. The horse was originally passed onto Kevin Staut, when France’s world renowned rider Michel Robert announced his retirement. The horse was also ridden by Germany’s Marc Bettinger.
