Venezuela’s Pablo Barrios and his horse Zara Leandra won the opening individual qualifying competition at the 2014 Central American Games Veracruz hosted at the Hipic Club of Coapexpan in Mexico.
Barrios and Zara Leandra finished their round with a time of 73.35 seconds, winning gold in the competition in which their time would determine the starting order for today’s Team competition.
The Silver medal went to Hector Florentino of the Dominican Republic riding Unico with a time of 73.66 seconds and the Bronze medal went to Colombian rider Roberto Terán riding Woklahoma with a time of 73.92 seconds.
