Patrice Delaveau Wins €27,500 Anemone Horse Trucks Prize at Jumping Amsterdam

France’s Patrice Delaveau won the €27,500 Anemone Horse Trucks Prize on Saturday January 28, 2017 at Jumping Amsterdam CSI4* in the Netherlands.

It was a 1.50m class with jump-off where nine out of the original 45 riders on the startlist advanced to the shortened course. Five of those managed to complete a double clear score.

Delaveau rode the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Aquila HDC (Ovidius X Bollvorm’s Lauriston) and stopped the timers in 36.96 seconds to earn 1st place.

The runner-up position went to Belgium’s Jérôme Guery aboard the 11-year-old BWP gelding Garfield De Tiji Des Templiers (Quasimodo Z X Goldspring De Lauzelle) in 37.61 seconds.

Holland’s Albert Zoer finished in 3rd place riding the 11-year-old BWP gelding Gigolo (Cicero Z X Quickfeuer Van Koekshof) in 38.05 seconds.

Also from Holland, Jeroen Dubbeldam and the 15-year-old SLS stallion Carusso Ls La Silla (Montebello X Joost) finished in 4th place while 5th place went to Italy’s Gianni Govoni and the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Antonio (Oklund X Dick Z) in 39.32 seconds closing the double clearers.
