McLain Ward got cheeky with Kate Soroka of Caring Hearts for Canines after winning the $75,000 Douglas Elliman Grand Prix Qualifier CSI4* on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at the Hampton Classic Horse Show.
Ward was also riding for a good cause in the inaugural Jump For Charity initiative presented by NoelleFloyd.com; ten international riders were paired with ten charitable causes. Each participating rider autographed 30 Hampton Classic baseball caps complete with the Hampton Classic logo, and the highest placed rider in the Grand Prix Qualifier earned all proceeds of the hat sales for their charity.
Caring Hearts for Canines was lucky enough to be paired with Ward, who earned a big check for the North Carolina-based dog rescue. “The Jump For Charity proceeds is a huge boost!” said Soroka, who has worked with Caring Hearts for Canine founder Jennifer Johnston Chopping since 2015 to rescue over 950 dogs.
