Scotland’s Scott Brash has successfully completed a whole year as World No.1 this month. After taking the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha title as well as the 2013 Season Championship in Qatar last year, it seems that the Scot has held onto an impressive lead that no one has managed to overtake. Holding his lead with 3070 points, Brash remains in the lead ahead of Germany’s Ludger Beerbaum with a lead of 271 points. Thanks to Scott’s victories in London, England as well as Cannes, France and Estoril, Portugal this season on the Global Champions Tour has helped considerably to allow Brash to remain well in the lead. This season alone, Scott has earned an impressive ten international victories, including three Global Champions Tour Grand Prix events aboard his Olympic mount Hello Sanctos.
