Canada’s Jennifer O’Neil has acquired Tim Gredley’s Unex Valente. The 29 year old Canadian rider who trains with Team rider Yann Candele will be looking forward to an exciting season with the experienced mount, well known for his recent Puissance victories across North America’s competitive Eastern circuit.
Tim Gredley of Unex Competition Stables has had great success with the 12 year old gelding, including a number of considerable Puissance victories as of late, including winning in Lexington (KY) and Washington (DC). The dark bay gelding was also seen under Italy’s Lorenzo de Luca in 2012. The pair won the CSI3* Prix Chalets Grosset-Janin in Megeve. The mount has been a consistent competitor for Unex over the last three years and Gredley expressed excitement for his long-time mounts new rider.
“Valente has been with me since he was a 4 year old and has been a pleasure to own. I wish Jennifer all the best” says Tim.
Unex Valente will prove to be an exciting and experienced mount for O’Neil. Jennifer made her international debut in 2010. We wish the new combination the best of luck for the upcoming 2014 season and hope to follow their successes this year.
