Luciana Diniz wins Friday’s World Cup Qualifier
After two victories for the Portuguese rider in Basel, aboard Fit for Fun and Winningmood, Luciana continues her winning streak in Leipzig, Germany. Riding the 14 year old Lennox, her 2012 London Olympics mount, Luciana won Friday night’s World Cup qualification competition.
Earning a time of more than 1.50 seconds faster than runner up Kevin Staut of France, riding Reveur de Hurtebise HDC, Diniz took home another five star victory with room to spare. Third place went to Germany’s very own Ludger Beerbaum riding the bay stallion Chaman.
Christian Ahlmann wins the Championat von Leipzig with Aragon Z
After an exciting jump off, Germany’s Christian Ahlmann won the Championat von Leipzig today with Aragon Z. As many as seventeen combinations qualified for the jump-off, but only six jumped clear in the jump off. Second place went to German-based Irishman Denis Lynch riding Abbervail van het Dingeshof while Philipp Weishaupt secured third place with Cordalme-son Chico.
