The 2010 World Champion Philippe Le Jeune had to undergo surgery yesterday for meniscus in his left knee.

The 52 year-old Belgian, who won the 2010 World Equestrian Games with the lovely Vigo D Arsouilles, was operated on at a clinic in Leuven, Belgium this week. The operation has been planned for sometime and will force the famous Belgian jockey to rest at home for the next four weeks before he jump back into the saddle.

We wish Philippe a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing Le Jeune back in the ring as soon as he is better.
