Josh Nichol Relational Horsemanship Clinic Presented by NOËLLE FLOYD

Josh Nichol Relational Horsemanship Clinic Presented by NOËLLE FLOYD

DATE: January 9-11th, 2025

LOCATION: Ocala, Florida

INDIVIDUAL LESSON FORMAT

This clinic format is three days, offering an individual lesson format. Riders are encouraged to audit the full clinic day to enhance their overall learning experience.

CLINIC OUTLINE

In this clinic, you’ll discover the principles of Relational Horsemanship, learning to connect with your horse in a way that promotes balance, soundness, and flow—both on the ground and in the saddle. Together, we’ll explore biomechanics for both horse and rider, helping you create smoother gaits and a more comfortable, enjoyable ride.

We’ll work on deepening your bond with your horse, building trust so you can feel safer and more confident in new or challenging situations. You’ll also get to experience the power of Free Liberty work—where your horse chooses you as their partner—and how this can transform your connection.

Every clinic is unique, shaped by the horses and people who come together. My focus is always on understanding where each horse and rider are at, and helping you take the next step forward. If there’s something specific you’re hoping to work on, please let me know at the start of the clinic so we can prioritize it.

Some previous knowledge of Relational Horsemanship and horse biomechanics are helpful. Here are a few recommended resources:

  • The “Saskatchewan Equine Expo 2020” series on the Josh Nichol A Horseman’s Pursuit YouTube Channel
  • Dr. Deb Bennett’s work on horse biomechanics and self carriage (equinestudies.org/required-reading)
  • The Relational Horsemanship Master Course (joshnichol.com)

PICTURES & VIDEO
Video or audio recording of clinic participants is not permitted, except for filming yourself for personal learning purposes only. Please ensure that friends and family attending to watch are also aware of this policy.

To respect the privacy of participants, any photos taken during the clinic are for personal use only and may not be shared publicly or used for commercial purposes.

However, you may share photos (or video without audio) that include only yourself, your horse, and/or Josh Nichol.
