With more than 40,000 Instagram followers, U.S. Equestrian Ambassador Britt Sabbah is spreading the #jointhejoy campaign message around the world through her adventures with her horses. There's Louie, a buckskin Welsh/Paint Britt evented through Preliminary; Ricky is a roan Connemara with scope for days; and the miniatures Lilly and Diva peg the cute meter.
Britt began riding as a little girl where she grew up in Missouri. Starting out in hunter/jumpers, this self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie ultimately found her way to eventing. A multi-talented rider, she's also a USDF bronze medalist.
Today, Britt lives near the coast in Augora Hills, Calif. with her husband, Sam, and their infant daughter, Rory, who seems to have already caught the horse bug herself. From breathtaking beach gallops to bridleless jump schools to simply hanging out in the barn, Britt is never without a smile on her face when she's with her horses. And that's her most influential message of all!
"Wow, how cool is this?! Thank you so, so much to everyone who voted for me for 2018’s Influencer of the Year!" Britt said. "This award really belongs to my ponies Louie, Ricky, Lilly, and Diva, whose talents, cuteness, and spunky personalities have captured so many hearts. I’m so lucky to have them in my life, and am thrilled to see how many other people enjoy them, too. We are excited to continue to create fun content for you in 2019!"
The annual Noëlle Floyd Best Of Awards celebrate the horses and riders who soar to great heights, the community leaders who move the needle in the sport, and the extra special moments that define our shared love of horses. For the 2018 NF Awards, we created short lists of extraordinary individuals who stood out to us this year, and then we handed it over to you to determine who is the best of the best. Turning out a record number of votes in NF Awards history, we heard you loud and clear. Now we’re rolling out the red carpet. One by one, we’ll announce the winners of all ten categories between now and the New Year.
